The Multi Media Services graphic design department utilizes both Windows XP and Apple OSX operating systems. The combination of industry leading hardware and an extensive variety of cutting edge software provides our creative personnel with awesome flexibility. We can work in CMYK, SWOP or in RGB and use our custom ICC profiles for image optimization.

We offer design services for customers who value having us take complete responsibility of the product — from start to finish.

Since Multi Media Services is a commercial printer we do not need to charge exorbitant rates for design services as some agencies do. The quality of design is as good as any local agency and our staff will help you design a piece that can be printed cost effectively. We know what works well and what doesn’t. We can design for traditional print, variable data, digital print, large format graphics and direct mail. Give us a try!

Digital direct-to-plate

Redundant plate systems ensure that production never stops

Multi Media Services has two ABDick Digital Plate Makers (DPM), which to eliminate many time-intensive, manual procedures previously need to make plates and provide 2540 dpi resolution (175 line screen) on all of our DPM plates. This new technology ensures a smooth production cycle in the traditional printing department by allowing our designers to send over Postscript level 3 files electronically and imaged to the plate using ultra violet lasers.

Digital direct-to-press

Multi Media Services has a Ryobi 3404E DI press which images a plate on the press at a resolution of 300 lines per inch. This new technology ensures a smooth production cycle in the traditional printing department by allowing our designers to send over Postscript level 3 files electronically and imaged directly on the press using lasers.

Proofing system

Our EPSON 9800 Proofing System utilizes Custom ICC color profiles for each device. See FULLCOLORUPGRADE.COM for more information on color management.
